Documents necessary for marriage registration:

Joint application of the persons, planning to get married;

Identity documents of the persons, planning to get married (identification card or passport);

Certificate on divorce (for earlier married persons);

Citizens of foreign countries and persons without citizenship should submit a certificate on absence of circumstances, impedimental to marriage from the country, citizens of which they are considered to be according to the regulation, established in the law.

Receipt of payment of the state duty - 9 GEL;

The certificate is issued the day of submission of the application and documents, stipulated in the Law. Marriage is registered in the place, chosen by the marrying persons.

According to the request of the marrying persons, the marriage can be registered in festive situation by special ceremonial service outside the building of the territorial office of the Civil Registry Agency.

The state duty for issue of the marriage certificate outside the building of the territorial office of the Civil Registry Agency and issue of the respective certificate is 9 GEL, and the rate for the service - 170 GEL;

The state duty for marriage registration and issue of the respective marriage certificate is 9 GEL, price of special ceremonial service in marriage houses is 120 GEL, and in territorial offices of the Civilian Registry Agency is 50 GEL.

• Documents to be submitted for issue of the certificate on absence of circumstances, impedimental to marriage;
• Duplicate of marriage certificate, documents to be submitted for reissue of marriage certificate, documents to be submitted for making corrections or alternations;
• Documents necessary for divorce registration on the basis of a joint application of spouses, if they do not have common minor children;
• Documents necessary for divorce registration on the basis of a joint application of spouses, if they have common minor children;
• Documents necessary for divorce registration on the basis of application of one of the spouses;
• Documents, necessary for divorce registration on the basis of a court decision;
